1.PM Surya Ghar: PM Solar Yojan

The PM solar yojan scheme launched by Prime minister Narendra Modi on February in 2024.Which continues till now 2026The main motto is to provide 300 units of free monthly current to the one crore households.Among solar plant cost ,saves upto 40% of money to the households.The scheme, which results save power bills upto 75,000 pre year to the government.The main reason to select households is to setup easily on the terrace.

Subsidies which supporting government

• Monthly Electricity consumes 0_150 units

If the households consumes monthly electricity is in ranging from 0_150 units, install a 1_2 kW solar panels.While,there are claiming the subsidie support from ₹30,000_₹60,000.

•Montly electricity consumes 150_300 units

If the households consumes monthly electricity between 150_300 units,install a 2_3 kW solar panel on the rooftop.While claiming the subsidie support from ₹60,000_₹78,000.

•Montly electricity consumes More than 300 units

If the Households consumes monthly electricity more than 300 units,install a above 3 kW solar panel on the rooftop. While claiming the subsidie support ₹78,000.

Eligibility

•To check eligibility for this scheme,the applicant must be held by an Indian citizens.

•The eligible consumers need, own house& current connection.Which sets for solar plant on the terrace.

• The applicant donot claim any other government subsidies for solar panel.

Benifits

• No need to maintain the balance in bank account & even intrest earning in householders account.

• This scheme transfers money directly to householders bank account.

• For the Accident insurance, they are covering Rs.1 lakh to the householders.

• To the householders,there is no need to pay current bills.

• If Solar panels install life time,which decreases,Co2 emissions upto 25 years.

Application process

  • Visit office website.
  • Select State & electricity provided in local.
  • To login,Enter the registered consumer number , consumer mobile number & email.
  • Fill the rooftop application form; with the personal Household details.
  • Wait for the approval from the DISCOM.
  • Once get approved then install the solar plant by registered vendors in DISCOM.
  • After Installation is completed. then apply for the net metering & enter the solar plant details.
  • Electricity companies were tieup with the net metering to measure the energy which is generated by solar plants.After DISCOM were inspects ,then they generate certificate.
  • After installation,apply to the net meter & submit to the solar plant details .net metering is useful us,to measure the generated energy by the electricity companies
  • After the installation of net meter,local DISCOM inspects & they provide certificate.
  • Submit the bank details to transfer subsidies to your bank account .

  • Assam is supporting to the householders ₹15,000 for kW,₹30,000 for 2kW ,₹45,000 for 3 kW.
  • Jammu kashmir is supporting ₹3,000 to install the solar plant for the consumers.
  • Ladakh is supporting ₹20,000 per 2 kW & for who plant kW gives ₹10,000& ₹50,000 for 3 kW.
  • Puducheery is supporting ₹9,000 to the eligible housholders.
  • Chattisgarh is supporting ₹15,000 for kW,₹30,000 for 2kW.
  • Haryana is supporting ₹10,000 for kW,₹20,000 for 2 kW to the consumers.

Gird connected rooftop Solar Scheme

Gird connection with rooftop solar scheme phase ll,program launched on March 2019 ,by MNRE. The motto is to install ₹ 38,000MW out of it ₹4,000MW provide to residence sector and₹34,000MW to non residential sector.

PM KUSUM SOLAR YOJANA SCHEME

PM KUSUM means Pradhan mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evaan Utthaan Mahabhiyan.Which is appointed on February 2019,by MNRE ( Ministry of New & Renewable Energy ) launched on March 2019.

The central government provides funding to the farmers to support agriculture lands and extra electricity sales.By installation of solar plants helps on grid connection to the agriculture, water pumps.

Farmers who are currently using electric pumps,they are eligible for upto 60% subsidy among the total cost.
