What is CBSE?

CBSE means Central Board of Secondary Education,it is found in 1929 by government resolution,which is nationwide board of education by public & private schools across the Country.From classes Secondary & Senior Secondary grades (9_12) , CBSE following schools adopts the NCERT guidelines.All over India nearly,27,000 schools were affiliated with the CBSE & among 28 foreign countries 240 schools,were following the CBSE.

What is SSC?

SSC means Secoundary School Certificate, after completing 10 th class exams, students certificates which is granted by the board of the state governments.

State Educational boards in India direct by individual Educational state boards like Telangana board of education, Andra pradesh board of education & Other states.

Now, we are discussing about The board of secondary education, Telangana also known as SSC Board,found in 2016 by the government of Telangana,Headquarter in Nampally, Hyderabad.

What is ICSE

ICSE means International Certificate of Secondary Education,is a non government found in1958 exams conducted by a private.ICSE mainly focused on English Language.Duration of the course examination for(classes 1_10) 10 years.

Students to get certificate of secondary education examination must requires minimum six subjects as well as (SUPW) Socially Usefull Productive Work.

Only regular school students allow the exam, not by private students.

Schools must affiliated with ICSE in March _June in every year.

EXAM FORMAT OF CBSE

  • CBSE schools exam format, 50% of theory based questions,20% objectives,30% long & short question & answers.

Marking

  • CBSE Class 10th,total 500 marks out of it 80 %marks for the board exam & 20 %marks for Internal assignment.
  • CBSE Class 11 & 12, for science group like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry & biology,total marks is 100 out of it 70 marks for the board exam & 30 marks for the practicals
  • CBSE Class 11th &12th arts group including commerce,Civics & Economics total marks 100 out of it 80 marks for the board exam & 20 marks for the Internal assignment.

Subjects:It includes 5_6 subjects like Social, Science, Mathematics & first & Second language.

Exam Duration: 3 hours 15 minutes

Qualifying criteria: In board exam students must achieve 33% of marks.

EXAM FORMAT OF SSC

  • SSC schools exam format with combine of objectives ,long & short & very question answers.

Subjects: First & Second language , English,5_6 subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social

Marking

  • SSC schools exam format out of 100 marks,80 marks for board exam & 20 marks for Internal assignment.

Qualifying criteria: In board exams,Students must gain 35% of marks.

Exam format of ICSE

Subjects:

Group 1 compulsory: Second & religion language

Group 2 (select any 2 subjects): Science (physics, biology chemistry ), Mathematics, Economics, Civics, Environmental science.

Group 3 (select any 1):

Section A: Applications(environmental, technical drawing,computer, economic, commercial )art,home science,cookery, fashion designing, physical education,yoga.

Section B:

Cashier, robotics & artificial intelligence, assistant hair stylist & beauty therapist,basic data entry operator, dietetic aide & auto service technician.

Exam format ICSE school format combination of external & internal examination.were external marks of 80% where as internal marks as20%.

Marking:ICSE schools format for Group 1 & Group 2 exams 80 marks for external,20 marks for Internal assignment.

For Group 3 exam format 100 marks for external & 100 marks for Internal assignment.

Duration: 3 hours

Qualifying criteria: Students must gain 33% of marks for each subject.

Language

CBSE schools teach English & Hindi in India.And Students choose there 2nd language.

SSC schools teach mother toung language, English & Hindi.

ICSE schools teach 20 Indian languages,14 foreign language,1classical language.

Competitive exams

CBSE Students prepare for the entrance exams like JEET & NEET through this syllabus.

SSC Students prepare for the exams only for board exams.To attend compititive exams they should take coaching to clear the exams.

ICSE Students bulid a strong foundation, mainly focusing on English language & prepare for the exams like NEET, JEET, and UPSC by taking outside seperate training .

Depends on Area & Government or private schools

CBSE schools fees are moderate to high depend on area & government or private.

SSC schools fees are low to moderate compared to CBSE & ICSE depending on the rural or urban areas.

ICSE schools fees are moderate to high compared to CBSE & SSC depending on schools.
